- Where is the guest house La Maison des Abeilles?
Our establishment is ideally located at 4 rue de Pernand in Magny-lès-Villers (21700), a charming, quiet wine-growing village nestled in the heart of the Burgundy vineyards. We are just 10 minutes from Beaune and Nuits-Saint-Georges, and a stone's throw from the prestigious vineyards of Pernand-Vergelesses, Savigny-lès-Beaune, and Aloxe-Corton.
- Is the environment of your establishment conducive to peace and quiet?
Yes, absolutely. Housed in a former Burgundian farmhouse (which was once a honey house), La Maison des Abeilles offers a peaceful and verdant setting with its large, wooded garden. It's the ideal place to recharge in tranquility, away from the noise, while enjoying the vineyards.
- Can we go for walks or bike rides?
Absolutely. The village of Magny Lès Villers is a wonderful starting point for walks or bike rides among the vineyards, or for exploring the famous Route des Grands Crus .
2. Rooms and services
- What types of rooms do you offer at the Maison des Abeilles?
We offer 5 charming guest rooms (3 double rooms such as the Pommard, the Meursault or the Volnay, and 2 family rooms). Each room has a private bathroom and, most importantly , independent outdoor access , guaranteeing you complete privacy.
- Is breakfast included in the room price?
Yes, a hearty, mostly homemade breakfast (local honey, jams, cakes, and homemade yogurts) is always included in your room rate. It is served every morning from 8:00 to 10:00 in our common room.
- Do you offer a set menu in the evening?
Yes! A passionate cook trained by Alain Ducasse, Tony offers a refined and gourmet table d'hôtes showcasing the regional products and flavors of Burgundy. The table is available Monday through Saturday for groups of 6 or more. Remember to book your table in advance!
- Do you have a parking lot for customers?
Yes, free parking is available on the property or nearby. The parking area is not secure but is in a quiet location.
3. Logistics and booking
- What are the arrival and departure times?
We welcome you for check-in between 4 pm and 8 pm. It is important to let us know if you will be arriving outside of these hours so that we can make the necessary arrangements. On your departure day, the room must be vacated by 11 am at the latest.
- Is Wi-Fi available in the establishment?
Yes, free Wi-Fi is available in the rooms and common areas.
- How can we make the payment?
A 30% deposit is required upon booking; the balance is payable on arrival. We accept credit cards and ANCV holiday vouchers (paper and digital).
- What is your cancellation policy?
A 30% deposit is required upon booking. Cancellation is free of charge up to 30 days before your arrival. After this period, the deposit is non-refundable.
Are pets allowed?
No, sorry! We don't accept pets for hygiene reasons. Only guide dogs are allowed.
- Is the house a smoking area?
No, sorry! The establishment is entirely non-smoking.
